We specialize in a modern form of Croquettes. Webster’s Dictionary defines a Croquette as a roll or ball of meat, fish, or vegetables that is covered with egg and bread crumbs and fried in oil. A complementing sauce accompanies each type of Croquette we offer. Whether it is a mayonnaise based sauce or pureed vegetables, everything is made in house. We change our menu often to provide our customers with a wide array of different flavors that is sure to please anyone’s taste buds. Don’t forget to pick up an order of our homemade Pretzel Bites fried to order and coated in sea salt and served with a cheddar cheese sauce. We also offer the Pretzel S'mores, salty Soft Pretzel Bites with coffee infused fudge sauce and gooey marshmallows. You must try the Stupid Awesome Pretzel Bites, smothered with cranberry stilton cheese, diced bacon, sour cream, granny smith apples, green onions, and shredded cheddar cheese. For our famous Potato Chips we cut fresh Kennebec potatoes paper thin, cook in small batches and serve them tossed in our house seasoning. Our slider specials vary from Beef, Bison, Smoked Chicken, Pulled Pork, or Beef Short Ribs. All served on homemade Pretzel Buns or mini Brioche Buns. We often offer a lighter option, the Apple Chicken Wrap. Made with locally sourced chicken breast, cranberry stilton cheese, granny smith applies, dried cranberries, toasted pecans, carrots, mixed greens, and an apple vinaigrette. Keep on the lookout for our 2-Bite-Tacos, these are a hit! Choose from either Korean Beef Short Rib with Kimchi, Locally Sourced Chicken with Pico and Avaocado Sour Cream, or the Pork Barbacoa with Chipotle Slaw. Our Chef and Owner, Andrew Payne has earned his experience working as the Executive Chef at the Wright State University Nutter Center, the Beavercreek Hilton Garden Inn, and the Dayton Convention Center. He graduated top of his class with a degree in the Culinary Arts from Hocking College in 2008. Andrew has participated as a featured Chef for the Doors of Compassion, a Ronald McDonald House Charity event for the past 5 years. We here at Hunger Paynes are fully capable of providing an exquisite experience for private parties, weddings, and corporate events of all types and sizes.
